Add the Portraits – The Portrait Management component of the YearMaster software program automatically imports photo CD and alphabetizes then sorts by class year - using a patented process developed by YearMovie - completing weeks of tedious work in just a few minutes.
Connect Video Shout-Outs to the Portraits –Students can even record their own video shout-out that will link directly to their portrait. – an individualized, personal video “Shout-Out,” that’s linked directly to their Senior portrait. Readiness Consultation – One of our YearMovie Consultants will work with you to make sure that you have everything you need to do the YearMovie program, including the right equipment and software. Also, we advise you on the best class or project team organization structure. Last and if you are considering enhancing or replacing your video production curriculum, we will show you how to integrate our cutting edge, plug-and-play YearMovie Video Production Curriculum.
On-Site Setup/Training* – YearMovie will come on-site for setup and training. We will confirm Project Readiness. We will install our YearMaster Software Suite and make sure that you are 100% comfortable with how to use it. We’ll take you and your students through our YearMovie Video Production Guide where you’ll learn how to produce, direct, shoot and edit digital video segments for your YearMovie DVD. We’ll share exciting ideas from other schools and you’ll have the opportunity to see what they have produced.
Personalized Care – You will be assigned a dedicated YearMovie Consultant who will work with you closely throughout the life of your relationship with YearMovie. During the Setup/Training, your YearMovie Consultant will develop a plan for how you want to interact with YearMovie and how often. We can work through the educator or with the students directly via multiple access options: on-site, our toll-free phone, email, instant messaging, blog, and/or webex conference.
On-Site Production Advisory Support* – Your dedicated YearMovie Consultant will schedule on-site appointments multiple times throughout the year to review your YearMovie project and to train/coach you on the latest tips and techniques in digital videography. You drive the topics that you want to learn, including camera and sound techniques and state-of-the-art video editing. Even better, you and your students will have the opportunity to work with “real” industry professionals to develop “real” digital video production skills and insight.
Royalty-Paid Music Library - By accessing YearMovie’s exclusive library of contemporary, royalty-paid music, schools don’t have to worry about the legal problems that come with copyright infringement. YearMovie’s licensed music service provides access to thousands of cool, royalty-paid songs of all genres to use on your DVD’s soundtrack. And we’re adding new songs all the time!
All Inclusive DVD Production – YearMovie provides a complete solution for the tedious non-creative, manufacturing and business aspects of the production process, so you can focus on educating:
Content Verification – YearMovie’s professionals will carefully review the video you produced and will alert you of any scenes that may be offensive or embarrassing. This ensures the decency of the DVD’s content while protecting your school’s reputation, integrity and investment checking with you and then deleting inappropriate or unwanted video. You won't have to worry about issues like obscenity, background gestures, missed audio expletives, etc. that could create a costly and embarrassing situation if mass-produced and distributed.
High-End DVD Authoring - This process combines all of your video segments, menus, fonts, and buttons into one final product. Yearmovie has a professional authoring department that specializes in making sure every aspect of your DVD works right the first time, is easy to use, and enjoyable to watch.
Quality Control - After the YearMovie DVD is authored, we go through all aspects of the DVD to make sure each button and menu item functions as it should. There’s nothing worse than replicating 100s or 1000s of DVDs only to find out one of the menu functions isn’t working properly.
Replication/Duplication - YearMovie uses a glass-master replication process to create as many DVDs as you need, saving you time and insuring the highest rate of compatibility with all DVD players.
Labeling & Packaging – You can customize your own label design or choose from label designs created by our YearMovie design professionals. You also have several packaging options including DVD cases, jewel cases, or sleeves that will permanently adhere to the inside of your print yearbook.
